On September 1st we welcomed Rev. Kelly Grittner who will be serving St. Stephen's part time as our Temporary Minister while we are in the process of searching for and approving the call of a new Minister to follow Dianne's retirement.
Kelly and his wife, Keitha, moved to Courtenay to retire earlier this year but when the opportunity arose for an temporary appointment to St. Stephen's he gladly accepted!
Kelly has an interesting background which includes working for the Government of BC as a School District Secretary-Treasurer, and has served many congregations in BC and Alberta working in the area of shorter-term triage ministry and assisting with conflict resolution and financial planning.
Kelly loves the outdoors as he grew up in Banff where his dad was a National Park Warden.
Come by on Sundays to meet Kelly as he leads us through worship and shares his stories. Kelly will be in the St. Stephen's office one day a week so please call the office if you would like to book a meeting.
