You have probably noticed that we are overwhelmed with information about Covid-19 and about the vaccines being made available to help immunize us against it. Some information is helpful and some isn’t so faith leaders in Canada have been asked to help people access accurate information about the plan to vaccinate Canadians against Covid-19. Here are links to two helpful and informative federal websites. The first contains information about ongoing vaccine development and approvals, safety and monitoring. Here is the link for that one:

https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/prevention-risks/covid-19-vaccine-treatment.html

The second contains information regarding the federal government’s part of the immunization plan for Canada. The link for that information is here:

https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/canadas-reponse/canadas-covid-19-immunization-plan.html

As you are aware, each province and territory has developed their own immunization plan with specifics of when each phase will be rolled out and who will be able to be vaccinated in each phase. You may have heard that information through the media already. Here it is from the BC government website:

We hope you find this helpful as we go through the coming months.
