“From Vengeance to Forgiveness: The Jake DeShazer’s Extraordinary Journey” In honor of Remembrance Day take a look at this incredible story from WW2.  Jake was a bombardier enlisted in the American Air Force. His troop called “Doolittle Raiders” was involved in a raid over Japan post the Pearl Harbor massacre.  A crash landing ended in Jake being caught by the Japanese and taken as a POW.  This is a story of brutal suffering, humiliation and cruel solitary confinement. At the same time it is a tale of how God can change a life and turn what seems like a hopeless and lost life to one transformed and redeemed.  After the war Jake enlisted into God’s army and left an enduring spiritual legacy that changed many lives.  Very inspiring man and life.
