CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF COMMUNITY MEALS!

This month we are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Community Meals!  On Thursday, June 11th we celebrated with special guests, a slide show and cake!

For two decade we have been nourishing hearts and bringing hope to the community with hot food, care and compassion.  Our first lunch in 2006 had a handful people and on Thursday we celebrated with a whole room full of guests and volunteers.

Many thanks to all our volunteers who set up, cook, clean, wash dishes and do the take down each week.  We are also so grateful to the bakery department of Qualicum Foods, Loaves and Fishes and the Salvation Army Food back for their donations of food each week and to the many community groups and business who provide financial support tho help us continue to serve the community!
