Today’s prayer is a beautiful, simple and deep prayer written by Kevin Borst from Commons Church in Calgary, Alberta.  As we move towards the cross and the reconciliation that we find there, we pray for all of the relationships that have been marred by our sin and fallenness.

With The Jesus Prayer

God for those moments
when I have not been kind to myself …
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
For those moments
when I have not been love for those around me …
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
For those moments
when I have ignored the beauty of your creation …
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
