This is a wonderful true story that has just recently been made into a movie. It is the story of a black man, Denver Hall, who grew up on a cotton plantation in Red River, Louisiana whose life crosses paths with a couple (the Hall’s) working in a food kitchen in Dallas, Texas. The meeting of these 3 people truly changes all of their lives forever. It is a very inspirational and emotional story of faith and friendship. The compassion and relationships that develop were only possible through the healing power of God’s love. They were truly transformed. Highly recommended!
