Service Ministry

Service Ministry

“There are different kinds of service but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working but the same God works all of them in all men.”          1 Corinthians 12:5,6

The Service Ministry is responsible for raising awareness to the congregation about emerging local and global needs. This Ministry has a wide scope and covers a variety of programs and projects that address identified needs and also answers the question “How can we care for you?” In other words, this is an outreach Ministry.

Do you enjoy spending time with people? You may consider spending a very pleasant afternoon attending the monthly Outreach Tea. This tea, served in the “high tea” tradition, is a time of fellowship with many seniors who have limited opportunities to be out of their homes and interacting with others. Folks love to come to this tea, maybe you would too!

Other programs include the weekly Thursday Community Lunch. This is a time when all ages come to enjoy a well-prepared lunch and fellowship. It is a highlight of the week for many people living in our community—for those who give of their time and those who receive the benefits of that spent time.

The Service Ministry team feels blessed to serve our God wherever there are needs. Maybe you would like to join us!
