Comfort and Joy

On Sunday, December 11th, members of the St. Stephen's choir, along with some guest performers, delighted a full house with their presentation of "Comfort and Joy" - a Cantata for Christmas.

Combining both familiar biblical passages and melodies interwoven with beautiful carols , this musical drama created a fresh interpretation of the timeless Christmas story.  

Many thanks to Anne Bennett for leading and directing the presentation and to all the choir, musicians, narrator and to all who worked behind the scenes, for sharing your incredible gifts to spread such joy.

Donations were collected for the food bank and totalled  $1,345 PLUS a whole carload or non-perishable food items (weighing close to 100 pounds) and a turkey certificate.
