Planning for the Future – your input is needed!
On June 3rd, God willing, Dianne Collery will become an Ordained Minister! While she will be appointed to her current position at St. Stephen’s, her being ordained opens up some new possibilities for ministry here. Phil is planning to retire in 2020 and we are starting now to prepare for the changes and opportunities that will bring. We would like to continue the work that we started together in 2015 as we discussed, as a congregation, what have been some of the most life-giving moments, ministries and programs at St. Stephen's.
On Saturday April 7th from 9:30am to noon we are going to ask you, the congregation, to come together again to reflect on those experiences. Many people were not here when we first began this process and there have been new ministries and programs added over the last few years. These life-giving moments could well be clues for us in discerning the direction God is calling us to go in the future.
We need your input and it’s valuable. Please come and be a part of this process of determining and setting the future direction of St. Stephen’s United. The coffee will be on!
